What went well
I think that the acting went well as we hardly needed to do more than one take. Also, the fact that we finished all the shots but 1 was good as it gives us more time to edit. Finally I think that the camera work went well as we were in good locations and we managed to get all the angles that were required.

What didn't go well
The fact that we got confused with what we were meant to record. This resulted in us missing one one take so we will either have to go back and record or compensate for it when we are editing.

How to improve
Read the plan exactly so we don't get confused with what we are meant to be doing.

Shot blocking

I think that overall, the class worked well together in order to create a decent film using professional equipment. I think the reason we worked well, was because we each had our own job so everybody could focus on what they were doing. My job was to hold the boom mic above the actors in order to record good quality audio. However whilst shooting, there were a few problems. One problem was the background noise from other parts of the college. Another problem was people in the room interrupting, ruining the audio. A final problem was the fact the clapper kept on clapping before the scene was cleared, making the video hard to pair up with the audio. However, after these problems came up, we eventually found ways to resolve them and re recorded the scenes and eventually created our short film. 3 things that went well with our production are:
  1. We finished recording fairly quickly and not a lot of time was wasted.
  2. We managed to organise ourselves efficiently.
  3. We set up and used the equipment correctly.
